On August 22, 2019 Dontae Sharpe was released from prison after serving 26 years for a crime he didn't commit. Exonerated! He is just one of 3,521 exonerations in the U.S that have occurred since 1989. In 2021, Dontae received a pardon from North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper. Join us as we hear of Dontae's incredible story of hope and fortitude in the face of tremendous odds and of those people and organizations who rose to the occasion to champion his innocence.
