Physicians for Social Responsibility

A Better World community

For over 50 years Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR) has been working to protect humanity from the threat of nuclear arms proliferation, nuclear power, and climate change. In 1985 PSR shared the Nobel Peace Prize with the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War. Our guests, Dr. Terry Clark and Brita Clark from the Western North Carolina chapter, WNC Physicians for Social Responsibility, share their story and the ongoing work of PSR to address the threat of nuclear war. They are the 2023 recipients of the local Peacemaker of the Year award given by WNC4Peace and Veterans for Peace Local WNC.
